Research Based Essays - MAY JUNE - Web diagrams

Few suggestions based on the April essays submitted:
- Be original. Even researched material needs your personalisation. Paraphrase the information obtained.
- Follow a proper structure: introduction, arguments/analysis, conclusion
- The top sheet must have the vocabulary used and the relevant web diagram (make your own if you have used a different approach to your essay than the one suggested in my web diagrams)
- The conclusion should be your personal opinion or learning from the topic (approximately 250 words)
- Edit till you reach and/or stay within the word limit.
- Mention all the details required (name, date, class, section and topic on page 1 and all relevant details on the marking lables)
- Present your work neatly and ensure you have a bibliography with detailed reference to the books or other sources used
- Write in logically divided short paragraphs using points only when necessary.
- If you are unable to incorporate the vocabulary given in the reading list, list the words and phrases in your essay that were new to you
- Research well. There's a lot to learn :)
